A 2-3 months old puppy is simply unable to understand all the rules of correct dog behavior. Usually this is the age for start of training. If a puppy crawls into your bed, it is not a sign its dominance. It just seeks for a comfortable place without any claims for leadership. If your pet is begging for a treat while you have dinner it is also not a sign of dominance over you. If a puppy runs in front of you it means that it is full of energy and interest.
Any classic sign of dominance of an adult dog is not to be applied to a puppy.
