How to choose and use a prong dog collar:

When choosing a prong dog collar is important to remember:

  • Measure your dog's neck circumference.
  • This prong collar fits for dog with neck circumference 22" (55 cm). If it is large 22", order additional links. One link adds 1 2/5" (3.5 cm) to the length of the collar. If the neck of your dog is smaller, you can easy remove one or several links.

  • Do not put on a prong collar on a dog through its head unfastened. It may injure dog eyes. Unfasten a buckle or release a link to put a collar on dog's neck.
  • Do not leave a dog unsupervised while wearing a prong dog collar.
