This original Herm Sprenger prong collar for big dogs is super strong for dog's weight up to 154 lbs (70 kg).

A prong collar for dog training and behavior correction is a professional and safe device to manage the temper of a powerful dog quickly. The round prongs are safe and resemble the teeth of a mother-dog. A dog perceives their pinches at once and stops undesired action. An owner just makes a slight pull on a leash to make a dog understand that his action is wrong.

It is important to use a dog collar with prongs correctly. Choose the prong collar size 2 in larger dog's neck circumference and wear it placed right under the dog's jaws on the top of a dog's neck.

NOTE!

Don't put on a dog prong collar over dog's neck, it may injure dog's eyes. You should unfasten a lock or a link, take it on a dog, and than adjust it again.

NOTE!

Black and plated metal dog collars may leave marks on white fur. For fair-haired dogs you may choose stainless steel or curogan dog prong collars. But still there is no 100% warranty that it won't leave marks on white or fair fur color.

The standard size of this black Sprenger prong collar for big dogs is 25 inches (63 cm). It consists of 10 links. A correct dog prong collar size should be 2 in larger than a dog's neck, so it will suit 23 in dog's neck. For a smaller/larger size remove or add extra links. One link adds 1.6 in (4 cm).
